DURATION
Minimum length of tenancy is 12 months at then end of which you can
renew for a further 6 or 12 months if you wish
RENT
To be paid monthly in advance. Clearance of a bank cheque takes up to 10 working days so the deposit and first month's rent may have to be paid by bank transfer or cash if you want to move in at shorter notice than this.
DEPOSIT
A deposit of 6 weeks rent will be held by the DPS during your tenancy from which the cost of any unpaid rent, cleaning, damage, missing items or laundry will be deducted when you leave, the balance of the deposit being repaid to you as soon as possible.
REFERENCES
References and identification will be required unless let to an established limited company. These may take a few days to verify before a tenancy can be agreed.
CLEANING
Your flat will be completely clean at the start your tenancy and you
are responsible for cleaning it during and at the end of your stay.
UTILITIES
Rents include the cost of water but not of gas or electricity which
you will pay directly to the utility companies.
TELEPHONE
Both flats have telephone lines so a telephone or internet can be connected
but their costs are not included in the rents.
COUNCIL TAX
You are responsible for the payment of Council tax to the Royal Borough
of Kensington & Chelsea. There is a discount of 25% for single occupants
and full-time students are exempt.
PARKING
Tenants of either flat are entitled to a resident's parking permit.
