Saint Luke's Mews is a quiet
cobbled street running to either side of All Saint's Road -to Basing
Street to the west and to Saint Luke's Road to the east -and parallel
to Westbourne Park Road. It was built in the 1860's but most of the
Mews was redeveloped in the 1980's, fortunately excluding No. 37 which
remains largely original, although considerably modernised and improved,
with its garage on the ground floor which was once used to accommodate
carriages and horses. It is about 8-9 minutes walk from Notting Hill
Gate station and about 4 - 5 minutes walk to Westbourne Park and Ladbroke
Grove stations (see transport section for buses). Like Lonsdale Road
the Mews has no fast-moving or heavy traffic and the flat, being on
the first and second floors of the house, is quiet and secure. It has
the following accommodation:
Ground Floor Entrance hall with cupboards, utility
sink, washing machine and separate WC.
